I'm not sure if this'll help you, but my aim improved tremendously when I turned off rendered trails.

Meh, I just worm.
Damn it, I hate it when people worm while you /Ruger.

And what the hell do rendered trails have to do with your aim?

Personal preference. It's just like asking "what has the type of crosshair got to do with your aim?"

I can't play without bullet trails.  It feels like my gun is shooting blanks cause it's just got a look of bad power.

Anyway, do use your scope - that's what makes barrett unique.  The thing is, you can see others before they see you.  While this is happening, you're crouching/proning on the ground, giving you near perfect accuracy.  This makes it easier for you to aim, and if you hit them while they're in "scoped" range, well they don't have a chance against you.  It doesn't even matter that you're not using dodging tricks, as they can't see you.  When I barrett, I usually move to just short of the middle, pitch up a tent, snipe the first and foremost guy I see and then go into their base (in CTF).

EDIT: Sorry, I failed to see the "law tips" topic, and now that you're OK, I guess this would be for very new barrett users who stumble across this topic.

What would you do after you missed? Stand there and get sprayed? Not getting away from you getting shot is "just pure stupidness".
Backflipping is not the only opinion in these kind of situations.
Meh, I just worm.

low sensitivity for any situations. (since it's not realistic, you don't have to turn your mouse quickly... even if when an enemy is boosting, you can easily get him on low sensitivity if it's not too low)
options are all about preference.
DM does help increasing your aim...

Damn it, do you have to go everywhere and bash people? It's a personal preference, because when I do it, it worked.
