Yes,
use your mouse and skill.

Tutorials and tips won't give you anything, just practice.

Whats so hard in aiming with barret?

So ok - barret : avoid moveacc and aim as good as you can.
law - stay away from bouncy polys until soldat 1.5 comes out and learn the arc.

Aiming is the most basic part of Soldat, using a gun is much more than just aim. Knowing how and when to use a gun are most important, as long as you have decent aim you'll be fine.

practice a lot with the same weapon, after a while you will know how to move the mouse when the blink starts to make the aim wider.... and then you should practice shooting while runing flying etc.. also, try to get a laser mouse and a good mousepad

No, the sensitivity doesn't matter, as long as your comfortable with it. I actually prefer my barret with very high sensitivity but I change it up alot. Aiming is practice and becomes second nature. First off, DO NOT use the Law and Barret as your combination if that's what you are trying to accomplish. Secondly, don't use the law as a blind shot, just use it when you need it. Finally, don't camp with the barret. It makes the game such a slow-paced, boring game.

Host a server with bots on 'Dummy' so they wont move, and practice on them... Shooting from different angles and distances will help your aim get good.  Then fix bots to harder difficulties for more challenge when you feel comfortable with it.

The DPI of your mouse is also important. A difference between having 100% sensitivity, but 800 DPI or 3200 DPI is HUGE...

Barret also has a small arc if proned or crouch but it is a little less than half an inch down scoped all the way in prone position.

And it depends on if your using normal or realistic lol.

*realistic too long of a message*

Lol, get used to that.

Just hardcore practise is all you need,  Re-learning old skills only makes you better every time.

Your aim comes natural. If you're good, you're good ; if you're bad, you're bad.

HOWEVER! You can tune it to become ever better and improve, but it can only be done with practice. Tutorials are only there to guide you by giving you advice ; they will never help you if you do not practise.

Seriously, just keep playing and using the same weapon over and over for a period of time ; that is good practice. After some time, you'd naturally get the feel of the gun's bullet arc (even Barrett has it, but very very slight) and be able to aim better. If you find that you can't seem to improve further, then you have to find out why you can't improve or find some way to tweak your aiming etc.

For example, your mouse sensitivity and your crosshair and sniper line.

You must be comfortable with your mouse sensitivity. GENERALLY, it is easier to aim with lower sensitivity but it is harder for you to swing your crosshair quickly to an enemy who is far and away from the direction you face, such as when he is behind you.

Your crosshair and sniper line(if you use it) are basically a pair of guides to help you with your aim. You can modify those two to your liking.

The sniper line helps you judge your shots with that straight line in front of you, though it makes your crosshair smaller and rather transparent until binked or targeted at an enemy. If you have disabled sniper line, you will rely completely on your crosshair. Find it too big? You can modify the size to your liking. Don't like the design? You can also change it. The crosshair is important: Some people find it easier to aim with a + crosshair, a X crosshair, a line like | or even a simple dot. It is up to personal preference.

To sum up everything, to improve, you only need to practise and to find settings that you are comfortable with.

Can't make that into a valid comment until you see every other player aim.

your the noob. you need to find out the weapon arcs, only practise will show you that. finally he has probably been playing soldat longer than you, and he has taken the time to reply to your question, so its polite not to call him a noob!

- Do some stationary target practice to get the "feel" of the bullet arc for your weapon of choice
- Become familiar with the accuracy differences between standing and crouched/prone.
- Lead a moving target (aim where its headed) since bullets in Soldat move slow (sub-sonic) and can be dodged.

Leading your target is an important skill since the higher the latency (ping) between you and the server, the farther ahead in time you need to predict where they're going to be.   This is by far the most important skill that a sniper or sharpshooter can develop in an online game.

dude kzya has some little trick where he puts weight on his mouse or something

If you have the mouse sensitivity maxxed out on a high-resolution mouse, then adding mass to it makes it harder to over-adjust when aiming.  At the same time, if you need to move the mouse a lot, the high sensitivity makes this easy to accomplish - although you're going to develop RSI pretty quick.

It would be nice if you could just hold down <shift> and halve the mouse sensitivity for precise aiming instead.

Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake.  Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big old storm right in the eye and says, "Give me your best shot. I can take it."
