Yeah, as stated above, we have /kill (and /kick and /ban) to take care of hackers and such.

If you read the post carefully you would have noticed that the whole idea was because /kill is really boring as the guy simply vanishes leaving the gun behind.

Or you could just use the already implemented kill command. No bots necessery, and totally omnipotent.

But the bots would be fun, watch those lil bi*** hackers run!!!

Yes, let's introduced a CPU controlled player with the abilities of a hacker to kill the hacker. Not only would this take up an additional player slot and/or give one side an unfair advantage of the additional invincible player, but it'd also have everyone else in the bot's path unable to retaliate against this server created hacker. Hackers are annoying and it's natural to want to make their lives miserable, but not at the expense of everyone else playing the game. The kill and ban commands in place now do the job far better and faster.

Yeah but these hackers need to be taught a lesson, they need to know not to mess with a certain server, or they would think the security bots as a challenge to kill

Mr. Domino makes a great point.  Why switch from something simple that works to something that causes trouble for the other players?

If the hacker must stay and take up team space, then he should be prevented from respawning or something.  However, there's no reason to put the other team at a disadvantage.

Removing a hacker is not done because its amusing to watch or funny to do.  Kicking and banning are there to improve the quality of the game for other players.  This hunter bot would not do that.

Only anime shows I've felt any interest in over the years are Pokemon (original TV series) and various hentai.
so clearly jgrp is a goddamn anime connoisseur. his opinion might as well be law here.
