Does barret-headshot explosions mean no more flying heads?

With the implementation of heads exploding when getting shot by a barret in the upcoming 1.5 release of Soldat, does this mean the end of people's heads careening off the map at orbital velocity?

Heads will only explode 50% of the time, so I imagine they'll still go a-flying the other half of the time.

That could be true, it could also mean that the head explodes while it is bouncing around the map. Wait and see.

I don't have the beta installed so i wonder is the new head explosion a new animation or just a coded thing?

I've tried the beta and I didn't notice anything with the animated scenery. What exactly is now being animated?

That'd be cause there's no maps with .gifs (yet). Waiting for Anna to add gif support in polyworks.

Ah ok, I understand. I'm looking forward to the new release. The only thing I'm afraid of is weapon damage changes that will reduce the damage on weapons and make them more underkill than they currently are. That'd suck massive balls.
