hmm, neato. I like the old-schoolish shading techniques you used, scenery usage is also good. Reminds me of maps from the early days of Soldat, the days before Polyworks. I'm guessing you used Map Maker, right?

Just a little :) I like mapmaker more but, shading stuff  better with polyworks then

I'm glad you've found a mapping style that works for you.

According to El_Spec, I may be a hypocrite as I have not played this map (meant to be a very light gesture, not meaning anything), but nothing appears to be wrong with it (layout-wise).

What I meant with that statement is this,

I hate how some people see a map overview and then state saying some possible gameplay issues or anything else wrong with the map when they haven't even thoroughly played it.  It's fine if you comment and say something like "It looks nice or that layout might not seem good for gameplay."  But if you go off and say stuff like "Texture looks stretched and etc."  It's aggravating.

And no, you're not a hypocrite.

Ah, well I see perfectly what you mean, but I didn't mean anything by my simple comment. I said it only because you are often much more thorough in your comments than I am. It was a light jest :)

Sure, have plenty

-Some edges of platforms are too sharp, add more polygons to round them out more
-I think the background is too dark, not a serious problem though
-Medic and grenade kit settings are too high, you set them to 5 & 6, change it to around 2-3 for each
-It's kind of small as well, only good for 1vs.1, unless you intended that, resize it by 40% or so.
-Gameplay is pretty good though, very fast-paced
-Colors and polygon work aren't bad, very defaultish
-And some of the grenade spawns are too closely placed to the ground, you should give about half a gridbox space from ground to the spawn

3-star and I like the name

Okay, I think I could fix some of the problems, I made the map first for something like 1vs1 battles but I could make it larger if I get borred and start maping again.

The meddic and grenade kit settings are easily fixed and also the grenade spawns I could fix pretty fast but I dont really understand what you mean about (the edges of the platforms are too sharp) hmm?? :>
