Hi everyone. Ive been playing soldat for about a month now, and its awesome. Anyway, before I played soldat, I played a online client / server port of doom 2 (lawls, but people do still play that game, its a classic), and almost everyone who plays says GG, or good game, after every match. I rarely see that here, and a third of the time I hear "camper, sprayer, <insert weapon name here> user, n00b". I kinda expected this, but no GG... lol

Oh, well hi.
You'll find that there are many rude "kids" who play Soldat. It'll take you a while to find a server that people WONT be total dicks to you.

Its not that i expect this sorta thing, its just that i didnt expect doom 2 to be more... sportsmanlike lol.

in pubs people rarely say gg because the games are almost never... i dunno.

Get a little better at soldat and get into a clan/gathers, GG is said at the end of those every time (unless it really wasn't a good game)

Now that I think of it I don't see it that often. In other games, however, I see it almost after every game.

Welcome.Â Well things may be different in the US pubs, but here in Australia, we have like 2 CTF servers, and I would be willing to make a bet that people would say GG at the end of a match 80% of the time.Â

But dont worry about the minority of the community that may not be so friendly in soldat.Â Just play and ignore all negative chatter

Yeah. If one person is getting extremely annoying, use your mute. It's a good friend.
And some don't say it - simply because they didn't have a good game.

That's only if you spray and tk, which I believe you do. Or if you're playing with Iq.

I have found that actually Soldat has a way better community than many, many games. Like DotA, I don't know if you've heard of it but it's community is awful. It depends where you play also.

Soldat has a more mature Forum community, but the game is full of immature kids.
DOOM 2, however, is pretty opposite. The game players are the more mature users, whilst the forum is a kiddie pool.

Haha, Iq...

The mistake I made in the very beginning when I started playing Soldat, is to keep my mouth shut and ignore all but nice people. In Trench Wars, If you're quiet, they will find something to annoy you with, like eating, lagging, warping, hax, etc. Muting is a very powerful tool, and I advise you to use it.

Hello. A piece of advice, be sure not to join ~removed. Don't be so dense.. It's a hacking community and they're manipulating Soldat data.
