player falls asleep

my idea is that if you stay put for too long, like 30 seconds, then the player will fall asleep, and can only be woken up 5 seconds after you press a key or if you get shot. This would force campers to move around in one spot, potentially giving away their position. Maybe even snoring or Zs to show where the camper is.

There's already a large enough problem with some of the animations kicking in when the player doesn't respond for a certain period of time, and the following problems of getting out of that animation.  This would only compound those problems, and most likely be a bigger problem.  Soldat is too fast paced for people (or their soldats) falling asleep.

Besides, what's wrong with campers?  Implementing this just to give away camper positions isn't really a good idea.

Well, when there is only a couple players, then camping slows the game to a crawl. And those little animations that happen after a while dont work when youre prone.

It's really annoying to the camper. I always had to keep resetting my prone when I sniped, sigh.

Hold "S" and you wont have to 'reset' prone? :s

I guess youre right, i just find campers lazy (well, compare to non-campers), and you can get some pretty cheap kills by camping.

But real snipers work in teams because of this. One snipes, the other guards, and then they switch up when the sniper is tired.

This would just ruin the arcadiness of soldat i suppose.

F11. This would defeat the purpose of a sniper. What? Have a camping sniper fall asleep in the middle of a game? Also, Soldat isn't meant to be realistic.

This really sounds the command /smoke, the player smokes a cigarete and it takes about 5secs. it's really anyoing so i f11 ;)

Simillar, except that you take about 5 seconds to wake up from the animation. Imagine you are stuck in an animation and can't even get out of it.

F11 as I said before.

I hate autosmoke, there should be a .ini toggle for autosmoke/autotabac/autobeer.
