As for long term effects, you'll eventually die if it goes on for too long. Not sure how long though, and it probably depends on the person.
Try smoking pot, that'll make you tired sometimes too. If not tired, it'll definitely make you relaxed and probably lost in whatever music you're listening to... you'll fall asleep eventually.

Depends from person to person though. I'm not encouraging you to do really go and masturbate, I'd rather you just go out for a good run outside, but it may help.3. Drink something warm. Warm milo, warm water, warm milk, whatever. Just DON'T drink anything with caffeine such as cola and coffee.4. Eating a lot actually helps. Eat till full.
