But the reload is partly the thing that distinguishes the deagles, so it aint bad to distinguish it a bit more

Do u guys gather...rly des in gathers...just owns all players use them...and i can tell des fires faster than ruger.

Yeah at close range des powns, but isn't Ruger more powerfull?...so why do dess PWNS ruger at close range?
Another thing i have notice lately Des players Use to spray alot (i know all players do it don't star flaming and posting bs about me)i found this a very lame stuff since a good des user told me to save every bullets of the des,by the other hand is really annoying cause the high accurate that turns spray in to a really pain in the ass.
Beside that the high accurate of the des makes it a lill unfair to ruger users in terms of ammo and med distance fights.
redemption for the redemtion...cause I'I'ma Fallen Angel.
do u have what it take to be a fallen angel??

LOL

Ruger - 2 hit kill; 40 ticks + aiming (higher bullet speed)
DEagles - 3 hit kill; 46 ticks + aiming (lower bullet speed)
So ruger kills faster and has better range.
Of course I assume that you're in effective range... and that you'll hit with every bullet.

I guess everyone knows the deagles fire faster than ruger
Deagle spray rarely works.  As everyone said, deagles are most effective close range, have a pretty amazing arc (can't go that far) and damage becomes negligible at spraying range.  And, you are advised to aim every shot properly, but many still shoot really quick otherwise it's easy to lose a fight.

I think, deagles are good as their are. But there's one my opinion. As it was in older versions, I remember, that it were not "Desert Eagles", but "Desert Eagle", so only one. Why it's not anymore? Maybe soldat improvement could be, that at spawn, you are able to have just 1 deagle, but you can pick second one, so you will have a bit bigger damage. (So 1 Deagle as it is, after picking 2nd one, DMG+2, ...). Only mine opinion.
- Deagles are GOOD right now. Maybe a BIT longer fire distance.

Deagles are fine, don't mess with them. The awkward firing arc and double shot it what makes this weapon special. Just leave it as a weapon that's hard to handle, but kicks ass after you've mastered it. User-friendly would be left for autos (and ruger), imo.

Off topic:
Does anyone feel tired of weapons balance threads? I'm not pointing towards anyone but to the whole situation. I feel that these threads always revolve around old issues, like miniguns, ruger overpowered, mp5 underpowered, etc.

At least not for me, I like to discuss the weapons balance since they always change quite a bit.

The 1.5 balance has some major changes of 75% bullet push, a big change in minigun, possible removal of m79 muzzle velocity, maybe more. That would keep the discussion going for a long time. Besides, take a look at the 1.3.1 balance. The autos were very different from what they are now.

What does bink mean?

Bink is when your cursor becomes bigger and your shots begin to go off in another direction. The bigger your cursor, the more binked you are. Bink will automatically go back to 0 overtime, as you can see that the cursor slowly becomes smaller again.

This is not the same as movementacc: Movementacc is movement inaccuracy, so if you move your gun will become inaccurate. Movementacc 1 is no movement inaccuracy. Anything above that, there is movementacc. Barrett is a good example of a gun with movementacc. Movementacc cannot be seen, but you know it affects you when you are moving.

There are two types of binks: Bink and Self-bink.

Bink is when you get shot, your cursor goes big, and when you shoot during this state, it goes off the cursor unaturally because it no longer fires straight, it fires at a weird angle. Good example: Barrett.

Self-bink is when you keep shooting with an automatic gun by holding down the shoot button. The cursor will go bigger by itself, making it inaccurate.

The MP5 has self-bink and movementacc 1 (or basically, NO movementacc). Don't worry, the MP5's self-bink value is very little, so you don't have to worry too much about how much inaccurate your gun is since your gun is meant for short range. Unless you're trying to make some really accurate shooting, then you should fire in bursts to reduce self-bink.

Most of the time the ruger is a 3 hit kill. In 1.5 forward it will almost always be.

If you can't aim and can hit only legs - yes, its 3 hit kill. And will be in 1.5. Have you ever tried any form of competitve soldat, with more skilled people than "major" and "yourself", have you played ga.. ok, you did and we know what happened (rofl).

Let me put this in small, simple words so your feeble mind understands.

The ruger's damage will be reduced in 1.5. A headshot AND a torso shot will still not be enough to 2hit, you would have to headshot headshot. Hurrdurr.

I don't know who to believe, Ziem or Lumen.

But really, in 1.5, if the ruger gets reduced power, I will definitely go with Deagles, because there is no bink in deagle. Or is there?

Yeah, because the math involved can just be disgarded.
