My soldat stopped working?

I haven't played soldat for a couple days and when I went to start it up it just closed...please help I really don't want to reinstall because I want to keep all my maps, and no I don't feel like backing up my maps.

Please help!

Are you using vista? If you do run it as an administrator (right-click and pick run as administrator).

Nope, I've used Soldat for a long time too...

Then I suggest that you do a re install as something might be corrupt. Just make a copy of all the folders Map, interface, soldat.ini except for soldat.exe and other stuff simal to it. Then uninstall the game, remove the entire Soldat folder, make a re install and copy over the back up files.

Yeah, I know how to do that, I was just making sure this wasn't some common problem I could fix before I did that.

Oh, and before I did that, it randomly started working again.
