How does .png support work?
« on: August 17, 2008, 05:29:09 pm »
I know that there is png support, but how do I get it to load my png files?
Like, how would I get it to load a gun that uses .png?
Also, is there support for transparency? (this may be the real problem.)

PNG loading takes priority over BMP, so if you have a PNG at all, it'll get loaded. Soldat 'accepts' PNGs for everything except textures so far, and so you should be fine with transparency on guns. Soldat won't load PNGs perfectly all the time, but usually it's worth it.

It works with alpha transparency, absolutely. What seems to be the problem?
