Weapon Zooms
« on: August 19, 2008, 02:36:45 pm »
Okay, I have three questions

1 - When you fire the Barett, the view follows the bullet. *Sometimes* I miss, and then I have to wait about six seconds waiting for my view to return to normal. Is there anything I can do to reset the view after a point?

2 - Is there any way I can put a zoom function on other weapons, such as the AK47 or LAW?

3 -  Can I adjust how far the zoom goes out?

1 - Stand up

2 - No, it's intrinsic to slot 8

3 - Unfortunately not :(

^ What he said. You cannot modify the sniper zoom in Soldat and sniper zoom is strictly for Barrett. Additional Information: The time it takes for you to be able to scope again after firing is 240 ticks (4 seconds). You can exploit this if the Barrett fires faster than 240 ticks: You get up and prone/crouch again.

But for number 3, if you're using the Barrett by default, for your info:

Stand = No Zoom
Crouch = Zoom
Prone = Zoom x2
