Virus
« on: August 20, 2008, 12:58:54 pm »
Ok my system and system32 folders have been infected with trojan viruses and i've recently used system restore to yesterdays restore point. I would of used aprils restore point but its gone somehow. Anyways i had the Blue screen of death until i restored my computer today. So as soon as i turn off this computer i will have to use system restore to restore it again. Avg just wants to move all the files that are infected to the vault which will make windows function improperly. So is there a free virus scanner which will find these trojan files and delete them?

System restore does not get rid of viruses (ever).  Reformat your computer, that's the only way to be safe and get rod of everything
