The "me, I'm harmless" challenge!

Anyone ever had the urge to stylishly humiliate the opposing team? What if you could do it? What if you could cap without killing a single person?

Then it's possible! When you go in a soldat server, say, CTF (or more harder, TW) you go as the player name "me, I'm harmless" so that when a person kills you it'd say "You killed me, I'm harmless". It isn't directly intended to make the killer feel slightly guilty.

After all, you're running around the map with a knife, neither stabbing or throwing it at anybody.

You can't kill of course, but you can cap. It's possible. You can do it by yourself. Rush in their base, grab the flag, and not using any gunning skills whatsoever, you get to focus on dodging and movement speed. You get the hell out of there, and hopefully into the safest route possible provided by team defendants.

And...bingo! You're no longer just a burden to your team by not killing at all.



So when you're bored and need a new challenge, go the pacifist way--win or help win a game without killing anybody.

Pretty interesting idea, I'll have to try it sometime. But wouldn't it work better if you dropped your gun and knife right when you spawn so you're running around weaponless? What player colors do you think would work best?

I tried going around completely weaponless, but I just kept picking up guns left over from dead players, so I find it less threatening to use a knife. It doesn't take long for players to know I won't throw it.

What do you mean by player colors? You can just choose which colors and teams you want to choose.

You can always hid in scenery in their base until it clears, then grab it. I've pulled it off in gathers, its good because of the whole respawning thing.

I often do it without knowing it when their team is VERY noob in pubs
And my guy is normally pink anyway - got a few different shades of pink on my hair, face, shirt, pants

But apart fromt that, there are many more possibilities to having "fun" with Soldat, just Experiment with noobishness.

I have had good laughs from this game, once I found myself in a kind of optimistic mood, for some reason I decided to play soldat and realised my mood that I was in allowed me to own anyone in any given server.  I decided to make the most of it, spamming stupid taunts everywhere and owning people, and just having a great time, some guy even said "i hate you hair, your better than me and u talk like a noob".  But when the laughs were over my freak wave of ownage died

What's teabagging?
One of my pwnage moments was when I got pretty annoyed at another game (it has server traffic, so it's very hard to actually get in to play).  Just as I managed to slip through the crowded server, it crashed...

When I couldn't be stuffed trying again, I opened Soldat, and firing my deagles as fast as I could, I somehow landed every shot in.  Was quite fun xD

To first post: yeah, I've done it in gathers, using m79 and nades to boost other people away (and myself) but most of the time I end up killing someone by accident.

You should run around with a LAW instead of a knife and what about boosting with a m79 or something?

I used minigun for 2 hours, and surprisingly, i made over 70kills

I have to say it is very annoying to kill most of the enemy team and when you get to their base, they all have respawned on you. Trying to fist people is way more fun though.

I will try this nickname thing and just hiding in the bushes somewhere. It's amazing how many hiding spots you find when you try to camp someplace.
