let's all talk about how much i hate anime

I SURE DO HATE ANIME none of it ever makes sense and 99% of it is fanservice anyway
there's only one anime that i thought was halfway decent and that is elfen lied but then it went way too far with the shitty NAKED EVERYWHERE theme they had going

pokemon doesn't count as anime its been americanised enough to not suck LIKE ALL OTHER ANIME

I can't tell if you're joking or not, but I hate anime.

It's not bad enough that half of youtube is full of dumb anime videos, but when people start naming themselves after anime characters, dressing like them, and making dumb jokes about how ninja's can kill a guy with an uzi, it just goes a bit too far for my taste.

Nearly all anime is converted into hentai, which is an insult to all forms of humanity and nature.

I like all awesome anime; FLCL, Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, Elfen Lied, Princess Mononoke, etc. But to a point. And that point being that the rest of the anime always seem to focus on big-breasted females and buff guys with no realistic life and goals. And spending most of your money on a particular anime dvd and then finding out it sucks the second time you watch it, sure...kinda....stinks.

Oh, plus hentai sucks.

anime as an art style looks like bug eyed vomit, the story lines are often stupid and the "acting" is terrible.

That being said there isn't a whole lot on TV I willingly watch.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I would rather watch 2girls1cup for an hour, rather than a cartoon about guys in tights who fight evil tentacle monsters. (Typical anime story line.)

I, personally, have no problem with anime par se. It's just I have yet to find one I like. I'm not the biggest fan of the actual art, but I don't hate it. It's just everything I watch just seems stupid. Especially since the whole "n-word' (can't say it here) craze hit my school particularly hard, and I nearly killed myself. Did watch pokemon/play the games, but that was when I was less than like seven. Then I stopped.

I've loved (and still do) the Pokemon gameboy games and their graphics. A few years ago I was lent around ten FMA books, they were kinda interesting but got bored fast.

I've always thought very softcore vector art looked awesome, but I'm not sure if that counts as anime or not.

There are very few animes that I have bothered to watch from start to finish. I'm not a big fan of the style, but it's tolerable for me. The problem I have with animes in general is that they all look the same.

Give me Ren and Stimpy any day.

Let's see...hentai is fail, and fan service is fail (especially when it's gratuitous, which it tends to be). Â But anime doesn't have to be bad. Â I watched and liked Neon Genesis Evangelion, despite it being freaking trippy, and I watched and liked Gurren Lagann, despite it being so overboard in EVERYTHING (if giant robots are wearing sunglasses and throwing galaxies and big bangs at each other, something's wrong). Â Maybe I'm just easy to please.
