Thinking that anime sucks isn't much more narrow than thinking cartoons suck. I dislike about 95% out of all the cartoons I've ever seen, but that still isn't enough to make me say something as irrational as "cartoons suck," because there are some pretty damned good ones out there. Same goes for anime if you bothered finding one that you like.

anime is great, if you watch what you like. there are many of these shitty school animes. but animes like FMA, NHK, Death note and many more really are great. and wtf, not all anime fains are fat :/, many of them are thin gothics.

i used to love anime.. then i found out other animes besides pokemon.
i watched that Bebop cowboy movie when i was stoned because there was nothing else on tv.. it was pretty decent.. the end was dissapointing tho.
other stuff just isn't my thing.

also, i hate what happens to people online once they get anime'd; they start writing with EH's (help meh, naughteh, kitteh etc), they get obsessed with cats (see kitteh), and they nickname themselves with japanese names like takashi or shipunga or whatever.

Man, those people saying that all anime sucks can not have a clue what they are on about. So they saw an episode of pokemon and inyasha or what the hell, and they are suddenly a professor on the subject.

There is something out there for everyone. If you actually bother to search for a quality anime, it will really be an eye-opener to you. I used to hate anime for no apparent reason, but some boring school days + internet acess made sure to turn me away from the road of ignorance. But by all means, continue to live under the impression that all anime sucks. You are missing out but you will be blissfully unaware

Hellsing is an anime I enjoy very much. Mainly the OVA version.

i don't know.. when i see an anime character with a japanese voice, i get a picture of anime fanboys in my head, and even worse - anime fangirls
