A new version of the Soldat 1.5.0 Beta Client has just been released.
Head over to the Public Beta Reports/Discussion section to report any issues or give feedback etc.

If you have not already downloaded Soldat 1.5.0b then please download it, as the above link is a PATCH for 1.5.0b.

The Dedicated Server will most likely be released during this beta version; assuming there aren't any major bugs with these features.

Changelog: 1.5.0b -> 1.5.0c
- Fixed Access Violation when Killing/Dying due to ActionSnap
- Fixed Headshot Explosions not being randomized on most systems
- Fixed flags showing next to Spectators on the scoreboard
- Fixed various "%s" formatting errors in some strings
- Fixed Bullets constantly being visible in Realistic Mode
- Fixed Explosions that are in your Line of Sight not appearing when the attacker is not in sight
- Fixed Bullets in Realistic mode now have dynamic visibility
- Fixed messages typed in Lobby Chat appearing as /commands when joining/starting a game
- Modified Players no longer gain 20 points when they Capture the Flag

- Added Ingame Radio Commands! If in a CTF, INF, or HTF you can issue Voice Radio commands to your teammates! Default Key: V (NOTE: This is currently only enabled in online play in dedicated servers)
   (Dont stress! The Voices are pre-recorded and found in /Sfx/radio/)
- Added Checkbox to start Soldat after exiting the Config.exe program
- Added Mouse Sensitivity can be adjusted ingame by pressing Ctrl Alt and +/- (increase/decrease).
- Added "<name> has dropped the Red/Blue Flag" to the console. If the player that died with the flag is on your team, there will be a Big Text message, and a warning sound will play.

(This list may not be complete, I forget to update the changelog document quite often)

Wow... something I suggested actually got implemented. Cool.

Smooth job, EnEsCe. Thanks for taking Soldat's development off MM's overly time consumed hands! :)

All new strings will be available for translation when the beta gets closer to being finished.

Will there be able to add custom sounds on dedicted server and then forcing people to download them before joining the game? Like vavle did.

To be sure that EnEsCe would see it I'd post it here.

There's one anoying bug with dedicated server. I mean resolution change after running a game with dedicated server on. I use 1024x768 and after I run server and then run game it always change to default 800x600.

Or maybe make 2 types of sounds: radio (heard only by team) and screams (like "Enemy!!!!!" which would be hear by everyone in close area.

I've already fixed hearing the other teams radio, but you'll have to wait for next beta version for that. When? Depends how many bugs come rolling in for the current build.

Make it so that if you are using a hack, you get profanities screamed into your ear.

 Looking down from ethereal skies
