Mapmaker:
-Highlight it by pressing alt+left mouse button
-On the right (in the polygons tab menu), press Copy, then Paste.
Polyworks:
-Highlight it using the poly selection tool.
-Ctrl+V

In MapMaker & MapMaker Plus, you may want to zoom out if you first don't see it. I'm not sure why but some pasted polygons come up screens away from the original.
