That's what I'm telling myself so I can at least keep some shred of hope that the games I love aren't being systematically made into bad movies one-by-one.
Uh...unless I watched a different trailer, it didn't seem like there were "demons flying around everywhere". From what you made it sound like, he'd be shooting the damn things.Methinks some Hollywood person tried to read a little too much into the original storyline and tried to bridge the gap to people who haven't played the game with a convenient medium, i.e. demons in regards to ones past.
Due to the fact that I have never played any Max Payne game, I have no idea what to expect from this movie. But from the trailer, it seems a whole lot like the Punisher movie. In the whole Oh dear it seems my family has died, now to do rediculusly unrealistic awesome fight scenes that are thin on the whole "plot". But that is just from the posted trailer.
I only played one level of the original and decided this revenge game is not for me. Following a trail of your child's blood with screams in 5.1 surround sound, is not my idea of a fun game.

Do you have any patience at all?
I attend grammar school, last grade, and ignorance is all around me. Well, good for them. Ignorance is bliss.
Nope, that was the prologue. You're in it immediately after starting the game.
I think Strangle Hold was the better game than Max Payne's... No offence rainbow
