Hey boys, I'm looking for some new films to entertain me. I was thinking something along the lines of Surrogates, iRobot and Minority Report. Can you help a fellow forumer out?

The kind of action movies that is a bit philosophical, or to be exact, movies that make you think "what if the world were like this"?

(Never watched movies, but I'm just throwing ideas)
V for Vendetta? - Crappy political propaganda under the mask of an action movie
Blade Runner? - Not really in the line of what he was asking, also I thought it was extremely boring.
The Island? - Good movie, I really like it.
The Sixth Day? - No
Equilibrium? - Good, don't expect anything great.

Also just go see Avatar in Imax man.

The 2 underlined phrases are wrong in so many ways...

How can I be wrong on Blade Runner? He has been watching action movies, Blade Runner is not an action movie. Also yeah I think its boring. On Equilibrium; how is that wrong? It is not some great breakthrough movie. It's a solid movie, just it doesn't deserve alot of the dick sucking it receives by hardcore fans.

PS If you want to watch Aeon Flux just watch the original cartoon.
