Right I've played Soldat for a couple of years now and finally started thinking about moving up the food chain; mapmaking.

Obviously I'm a complete and utter newbie at it so I'll need a mapmaking tool that is simple but at the same time can make effective maps. I ask because there seems to be more than one, which doesn't help at all. If there was just one I'd be able to cope, but there isn't, so my question is, which?

And further more, once my mapmaking skills develop, should I move onto another maker, or just stick with the same one?

Cheers,
Luke.

@jrgp:

Well, I use both XP and Vista. And I don't think I have trash can in the flash drive also.
Go to Tools>Folder options>View and view hidden files and folders then check for a recycle bin (happened to me before). (and just to be sure you can untick hide protected operating system files)

What browser / OS? Almost definitely no. Even if you used one of those things where you recover deleted files, like Recuva, you probably couldn't find them all since a browser usually has dozens of files that get rewritten (and written to) by it every time you load a page.
Careful with that axe, Eugene.

Play Endless War 3. It's one of the best flash game I've ever played in my life. I'm still addicted to it.

I may or may not get flamed for this, but try going outside. There is some pretty fun stuff.

Emos are alergic to lights... So I think he'll prefer inside playing.

But yeah, thinkto's idea isn't too bad. What, are you tired of Soldat now? ~_~
