I know that soldat have problem with opening map with more than 3000 polygons.
Its bad to use sceneries bigger than 1200x1200 but if you need you can use one or two images with 1024x600px (but remember to index them to 200-255 so size would be smaller, or use PNGout to compress it better)
About dimensions i think its something like 10000x10000(I have no idea why someone would made such map... its overkill even for climb maps)

PS I think "again" its not good place for such question but there is no similar topic in mapping help section.
Maybe we could make sticky topic in script help and map help sections similar to this one? So every main section would have topic to ask quick question like this.

quick question: can we mod jet amount(meaning give whatever value we want) and recovery rate of jet on certain maps?

Total jet amount is a map setting, you can only change it in a map editor. Also you can't change jet regen speed.

I don't understand what you mean by "so jet would work as jet". Though either way I haven't seen any scripts that affected jet fuel in any way so I don't think that's possible. You can kind of script some abilities that make you teleport through air, and you could make weapons pull you forward instead of pushing backward (not sure if that still works though) but I don't think you can change jets themselves.

As for avatar - I think 90x90 is max.

Nope, I've made maps bigger than 10000 in width for my flappy soldat mod. [:

<DutchFlame`> i once heard running runescape in the background gave you a speedboost
<Mr> yes, it allocates more electrons, so there are more electrons available for Soldat -> they are streched less and it is more fluent

Some climb maps:
rce_Medley - polygons: 5000 - dimensions: 30107x4477 - fully playable map
and rce_freetime - dimensions 17031x19512

lol, I don't play climb to often so I had only 9970x7412 inf map... but its climb in the end, hard to play such map if its ctf, people dont like to play ctf_run because they think its to big...[sad omg]

And for me soldat can't run without bugs and lags map that have more than 3000 polygons(with also loots of sceneries). So i think its overkill for ctf/inf/dm to make such map.

PS could you attach this rce_Medley?

EDIT: every year I forget about that damn April's Fool trick with exit and OK buttons xD I know about that but everytime I click in this damn Exit button...

Why separate topic? These are simple questions, might as well answer them here. Otherwise he's gonna keep trashing up the forums with new threads.

Admin have always right:
Why are you talking about official Soldat stuff in the Lounge, instead of one of the boards intended for this purpose?

all his questions are soldat related, it would be good to have all this question in ONE separate topic, so other people would check this instead of looking here where is 85 pages of questions :]
