I never understood why its so important to know this stuff, with all the money and manpower and brainpower it took to make some particle slingshot we could have tried to end world hunger or cure a disease.

They took the 9 billion, made a huge underground racetrack, and are staging horse races. Pocketing the rest of the 9 billion because it doesn't take that much to build a huge racetrack. Funny, because I went to other game forums, and some people say that this invention will be leading to the end of the world.
i like the website that was posted but i don't think the world will end because of that otherwise it'd be all over the news and the project would be pulled.
At least smashing invisible particles into more invisible particles is doing more than most of the slobs arguing day and night about whether or not Asians have slanty eyes because of premature births caused by some imaginary mandate by Ghengis Khan something or other.
