French atom crusher/hadron collider?
« on: September 10, 2008, 07:55:07 pm »
Well tuesday was a few days ago now in France... I guess it worked, I mean I dont feel any different, we didn't all die. So where's this new universe supposed to be?

I think, as of now, they're only accelerating particles in one direction at a time (counterclockwise then clockwise).  Unless I'm mistaken the first actual collision has not taken place.

I never understood why its so important to know this stuff, with all the money and manpower and brainpower it took to make some particle slingshot we could have tried to end world hunger or cure a disease.

Too easy, solving the mysteries of the world is more important.
I think its all a conspiracy. They took the 9 billion, made a huge underground racetrack, and are staging horse races. Pocketing the rest of the 9 billion because it doesn't take that much to build a huge racetrack. I mean come on, how easy is it to dupe the French.
No, we won't invade you, we just want the land we had before WWI.

Yeah, because no one here wants to see colliding hard-ons.

Is it any coincidence that when they collided, it gave me a hardon for three hours?

AFAIK The LHC's "Big Bang" isn't really... you know, making a mini-bang to make a mini-universe. It's a way of saying smashing particles into even smaller smithereens to the point that these smithereens are similar to what scientists think that the smithereens during the big bang were like. Ehm?

Anyways, it's not that big of a deal. Nobody was hoo-hahing that much the whole time they were colliding atoms to make antimatter and crap at all those other accelerators. Might as well go back to flaming about religion.

Funny, because I went to other game forums, and some people say that this invention will be leading to the end of the world.

I don't know what to do. Laugh, or be shocked. You guys don't think this is true, right?

Yes, actually.

And I don't believe that this Hardon thing does anything at all, it's just scientists' way of trying to look smart. ย I believe that God places those broken particles where they are.

How many STUPID people are there in the world.

At least smashing invisible particles into more invisible particles is doing more than most of the slobs arguing day and night about whether or not Asians have slanty eyes because of premature births caused by some imaginary mandate by Ghengis Khan something or other.

i like the website that was posted but i don't think the world will end because of that otherwise it'd be all over the news and the project would be pulled.

Haha, FOXtard. Yes, the only things that happen in the world are on the news. :/

Edit: I for one am totally for LHC if only because it has an awesome name. Any world-ending attribute is just a side effect and is totally forgivable.
