The gameplay and cgi were about half and half. There was a lot of gameplay that was great and if you don't want to see the movies then skip it. But the story was just mind blowing, you either didn't bother to play the first 3, or was stupid enough to buy the 4th one knowing FULL WELL that there a lot of movie time.


I'm a PS3 user.

After buying NHL '09, the only games I'm looking real forward to is FF13, FF13 Versus, and Resident Evil 5. Oh, and LittleBigPlanet because I promised Shady I would get it.

The story always sucked balls, but at least the gameplay in the previous games was better. This time you didn't feel as rewarded as playing more stealthily, instead it was more of a hassle.

Plus, its not worth the 60 dollars. Sure, I can skip the movies but fuck it. They should have spent more time on the actual part that matters. Not some story from a writer who apparently knows nothing about subtlety.

Perhaps you could explain what was so good about it... apart from the crappy cinematic teasers that kept the fan-boys and fan-girls hyped up for however many years before it was actually released.

Anyway, we had a thread like this 2 months ago.

Fall Out 3, Left 4 Dead, Brothers in Arms - Hell's Highway.  The gore system in that looks interesting so far.

Ya, renegade's online play lacked massive potential. Hopefully this will actually make the online play fun! But then again... its EA.

Just like with final fantasy I always enjoy the cutscenes more than the actual gameplay :7
SO I don't understand how people can complain abiut it having several hours of them...I mean that's just awesome. Now I just to get hold of my friends PS3 and play MGS4 just like I did with his PS2 for the other games.

Because we want to buy a game, not a movie. I don't MIND the cutscenes since I can skip them. The actual gameplay was bad too. The stupid plot and the overly long cut scenes just added to it.

I'm already enjoying Call of Duty 4... The only thing I wait for in Call of Duty: World at War is the co-op mode :)
