Personally, I like that the sounds for firing/reloading/pretty much everything are much meatier now.  They make the weapons feel more powerful.

I don't dislike any of it too much, and it seems to me like it's alot like the older version ;)
But it's cool, and yeah the firing is cool , even though I pretty much just play 1.4.2.
