The music of battle
« on: September 13, 2008, 01:19:21 am »
Does anyone have any certain music that they listen to while playing soldat?

Typically, I listen to heavy metal. Slayer and disturbed, mostly, that seems to get me pumped up the most. Occasionally I'll throw on some Black Label Society or Metallica, but I don't find them to have the same pulse-pumping riffs that are found in the heavier stuff.

Smashing Pumpkins & Pink Floyd. My favorite band is probably Metallica but it's just too distracting for me when I'm doing things that require attention, like work and Soldat.

I prefer mellow music, but not too boring. Like Rihanna or Leona Lewis.

I listen to a variety of music, depending on what mood I'm in. If I'm all in for the kill, I listen to either some heavy like TOOL, or some pumped electric like Prodigy. but usually, when I just play for the fun of it, I listen to some cozy stuff like Daft Punk, Stardust or whatever's around.

I prefer mellow music, but not too boring. Like Rihanna or Leona Lewis.

I listen to the actual soldat music, Aerosmith, and some Great Big Sea. (Which I doubt you've ever heard of)

I just can't get enough!

And as soon as the cd this song is on comes in the mail, I'll listen to it whilst playing Soldat too:

I preferably have all music turned off as well. This helps me concentrate greatly, not only in sniping, but also when trying to hear distant gunfire and the such.
My Soul corrupted by vengeance,
Hath endures torment,
To find the end of the journey in my own salvation.
And Your eternal slumber.

Meh, Usually no music, but if I do listen to music, maybe a bit of Green Day, or Lil Wayne.
