I was surprised that anyone could do anything about it to be honest. The ESRB can't control what happens on the internet, if i post a naked picture of someone on a children's website(Apart from not making the news) all anyone could really do is track the IP and if it was dynamic or from a internet cafe, they can't do much.

If they have rules against such things then they can do shit about it.

But generally it's either too costly or a lost cause. It may be different, but in australia i'm pretty sure that they only start paying attention of it's something that is threatening or that gets a lot of attention.

I'm not certain i could be wrong, but generally they don't get involved in matters on the internet, or Australian's have better things to do then post videos of themselves telling the world they're going to shoot some people. Like i dunno, maybe we just go to the beach more often...?

It being just a game isn't the point. It's that its stereotyping and antagonising a community out of ignorance and hate. ...... Or at least in theory; I don't know enough about the game to say for sure. If it's a Team America kind of humour, then that'll be ok. Depends on how you present it.

I'm not against funny if somewhat politicly incorrect jokes etc, 'cause sometimes you can't have a laugh without offending someone somewhere. But there's a line between 'politically incorrect' and 'downright racist/dangeriously ignorant'.

While we've squeezed the sh*t out of WWII and it's missions done by every company ever, most of the story and movies were on the American's side, with a few moments that convieniently bring the good side of some of the people in the german army to light.

So yeah, you really can't say f**k the germans while watching Saving Private Ryan or Band of Brothers, because the german army aren't just a faceless entity like you usually find in older PC games.

Watch Das Boot or Starlingrad; those movies are entirely from the German perspective.

And it's true that hollywood overplays America's role in the war; in the movie 'U-571', they even tried to sell it to the audience that the Americans were the first to capture the German Enigma machine.
