what does "eat" in soldat actually mean?

Umm I'm a little confused on the term.. and know its not cheating.. but would please ask someone to clarify what it means.

Eating is when a grenade or any other explosive projectile hits an enemy, but he does not get hurt by it at all.

Can also be bullets, i.e. a barret shot.

So if anything that should do damage, doesn't, it is eating.

Eating is usually a result of lag.

eat pisses me off, and i think that does to anyone, in all other games I play, this never happens, Imperivm III, CS..

well, soldat is the 2nd laggiest game I've ever played in my life. and I've played many games.

Oh I do too, but that doesn't mean it can't be fun.

It's not such a big deal as most people think it is. You hear lots of "hits" and "dies" no matter what, even if you're playing in more skilled places such as in gathers. The best thing you can do is just calm down after some sooo clear shot which somehow didn't kill. So basically, don't say a word, it makes you look stupid.

The only thing that pisses me off about the hit registration is when you blast an EFC from behind with a M79, he ends up living and is boosted towards his base.

Yeah, EFC eats are very annoying
But as I said, I hope they fix it but I don't really mind if they don't either.
It doesn't often bother people unless it's ongoing.

I spose it does offer relief from those pwnage M79s some days..  But it still sucks balls when they eat your nades and saw -.-

Eat= When an enemy player shoots you with barret, m79, or throw nade at you, you get no damage at all. Then when you kill him later, he will whine and say "OMFG EATING HAXOR"
