Zombie map by Viggolo

TU THAUSAND AND EIT, SEPTEMBOR

I present you a new Zombie map, it has been a very long time since I last released anything. I'm not back into constant mapping but I have some oldies lying here and there. Enjoy this fat bratwurst of a zombie map. Also there is some retarded poetry involved below.

"Tribute to Fear"

I scream in fear but noone's here
its just my fear appearing clear
Don't even try to hide from it
even though I must admit
It searches, crawls, it is inside
of each and every one of us
it doesn't stop until you're found
dwells somewhere inside the head
awakens, weakens, then its gone
hunts the living til they're dead
exists only to serve its goal
ruling when we are alone
until we lie inside a hole
slowly eating up us all
sickness creeps those not asleep
worry pushes pain more deep
danger makes arteries flood
adrenaline inside our blood
blinking street lights, sleepless nights
heavy calm is fueling fright
throughout the time of our kind
fear developed our minds enough
to understand what was unclear
distorting blinded eyes by fear
and if I ought to die tonight
I won't go down without a fight
I will not be afraid no more
because that is no way to go
and if you did not understand
I will not fall cause I stand tall
giving in, I don't intend
No regrets left in the end...

I honestly like the fact you are still making maps Vig, even if it's at a slow rate.  I wouldn't mind if you were to retire from it, but I want really like if you were to at minimal remain here.

As for the map Vig, I wouldn't say it's your best zombie map.  That seriously would have to be inf_Cleaver.  That map really is truly brilliant.  If you haven't noticed, it's one of the most popular zombie maps, especially at !Elite Zombie, I never have played at that server without going a round without it.  inf_Forsaken wasn't as well recieved as I hoped it would've.  I thought it was flawed, but still very enjoyable.  Eitherway, I would say both of them are great maps. 

For the map, I will say it's quite challenging, due to the tunnels and the overall tightness.  Scenery is absolutely well-done, like the rest of your maps.  Multi-texture could've been used, like in the green areas, but it doesn't really matter.  The texture still does a good job manipulating it.  Waypoints work well, good job on those.

Overall, I think this is a good map, worthy of being at being !Elite Zombie server rotation.  Mr. Domino should as well like this map as I do.

Man, this is the best sh`t

It works a charm in single player (4 on 4 with bots), the waypoints work very well.

It's also got a very effect use of scenery and background colors ;0

My favourite INF map of all time <3

Good scenery and poly use. I love the bouncy death pit in the bottom right. Aside from that I don't know too much about zombie maps, but I'm sure it's good for the gametype.

Actually Elspec, it's even better than inf_cleaver in terms of the atmosphere. The atmosphere changes constantly as you progress through the map, and it feels right. The visuals are good, transitions between the inside and the outside "rooms" are great, and both the visuals and the transitions isn't distracting.

The gameplay is odd in a good way, maze-like, with several traps meant for brainless zombies. Waypoints work 100% for zombie side, not so much for Alpha team, but I guess you intended for human players to be on alpha, hmm? And yes, the deadly bouncy polygon is hilarious, just as you intended.

There's a good balance of open spots and tight spots, and I particularly like the big room where the blue flag is. No major polybugs, as far as I could test. This map is so linear, yet there's resting spots for alpha. Scenery-wise, I really like the fact that someone's actually using some of VTT's sceneries, mostly from ctf_cathedral. It isn't a very scary map, but the atmosphere is pretty somber.

EDIT: Yes, he did, but that's not a problem, since VTT is just really a artist. ; D

there is a secret exit in this map that lets you go out of the map. (not m79/nade boosting, a hidden passage)
and this map is better than cleaver
and I combined several sceneries and styles together (Avarax, MNP's, VTT's. chakapokos and mine)

Oh and I wouldn't have released this here (as usual) if a horde of people hadn't insisted on it, so you be fecking grateful betches

And of course you realize that TMS is a community of inbred wankers that pretend that they know something about mapping even they don't know crap

It ain't that bad now. The only active people there are Blue-ninja, Wraithlike, ElSpec... and jrgp of course.

my point exactly, it just shows that they don't want to make crap alone, nowadays it takes more people to make pieces of shit

The thing with a rookie army of mappers is that even if there is one who might know how to map, he accepts advice from a total tardo and fecks it up resulting in a bag of shaito equal to a first map^2

I've made a fixed version of inf_Cleaver, I can post if you'd allow me Vig.

Re-done waypoints and added a wall of polygons to the side to prevent warping out of the map.

And I forgot to mention a tip.  Next time you make a map Vig, could you please clear the scenery list.  The map will load faster and the file-size will be smaller.
