the middle route may be too hard to get to so maybe open it up a little

Don't smooth it, it's fine as it is. look to ctf_Steel... I agree about the walls though ;)

awesome map
New map continue no.

the middle part is pointless - if you try to enter it you get slowed down so much that you're asking to get assraepd

I have one quite big problem.  I want to make like jungel bridges that hangs down but I dont know how to mix  the sceneries and I dont got any good one thats already ready. I will make the middle more smooth to enter.

Could you provide me a download link?  I have some suggestions, but I can be entirely sure until I actually can test it.

From the looks of it, won't play too smoothly.  The middle and lower route serve as complete spray-fests.  Try to curve the entire map a bit, something like ctf_Kampf-like, to help reduce the spray-amount.

Visuals and everything else are alright.  The flag spawns might also be a problem, might be a pain-in-the-ass to reach them.  Maybe you could make Only Players Collide polygons at the edges of the middle route and place the flag by it.  Will have a ctf_Death2 feeling.  Although ctf_Death2 is overplayed, it will play better than how it currently is.

For all those who wanna test it: http://Soldat://server.selfkill.com:35874/earth
Mapname is "ctf_New". If youre planning to have a test-3on3 ask SuoW or me at #soldat.mapping for adminlog.
Greetings, Lennart!

Already tested it, I can cap In nearly 10 seconds boosting myself with a m79... i was alone, though... i'd like to play this one in a full server, but I don't have IRC and I don't know how to make it work...

Niko, it's not small. It's pretty normal actually. Of course if u r comparing it to most officials it looks small, but what if the officials are big and this is good sized? Nowadays mapping is maps are aiming to be better at 3on3 (cws, gathers). Not at 5on5 public like most official maps.

If you dont want to dl irc Niko, just try this: http://www.maze-esports.de/irc/index.php
Its a java based webirc connecting to quakenet automatically. Just write your nickname and press connect. Since its hosted by some maze-sports clan or whatever you join this channel automatically. To join the mapping channel type "/j soldat.mapping" into the input box and press enter ( without the ""-shit of course).
This is where you find the mappers including myself.

no, no, i'm not complaining, the size is quite well, and i like small fast paced maps like ctf_Steel or ctf_Dropdown2, I just wanted you tell you how easy is to score....

And that IRC online doesn't works for me...
