That I canceled telling something doesn't mean I cancel game

So, there's a thing that (in my opinion) should looks another...

So, I decide to tell something by T... But I see that I don't need to tell it anymore and I type Esc. And then the chat closes but Esc-Menu jumps on and I have to click that Esc again!

Can't it not put on itself while the chat line is open? Soldat should know that I want to cancel telling something. Of course I could do that deleting the whole text using Backspace but it steals time...

That thing is really simple to fix so I'm not expecting that you'll throw it for later and it will be fixed until next devlog :)

Kind regards
machina

It should be in official version of Soldat...
Also, it would be better if I could remember the text I wrote. I mean about situation when I write something really longer. But then I see someone incoming to me and I want to protect myself. So I have to options:
-I press Ecs and I lose everything I wrote or...
-I'm finishing text but I lost my life without any fight

There should be possibility to bring back this text like:
I close chat using Esc, but Soldat saves that text. And when I open chat again I can open this seved text using double /

I wholeheartedly agree with both your suggestions, machina.

As a hns player, I can't count the times I've been in these situations.

Oh you're right.
Funny I never noticed this. Thank you for sharing this tip.

Only problem is that if you carry a loaded weap, it actually shoots.

So would I! But for now, you just gotta find the right time and place to erase... whatever you need to erase =/. But I agree.
