I also got this error, after a few years of Soldat running smoothly. It randomly popped up when I clicked "Request servers," but it only happened once and closed Soldat. I just ignored it. ;)

Try updating to the latest DirectX version, and make sure your video card drivers are up to date. What OS are you running? Compability mode could be worth a shot; open the Soldat setup program, go to the More tab, and tick Video Compability.

Under the Graphics Tab
Un check Antialiasing and Dithering(#2&#3).
Change the Bitrate to 16(#6.) and do the same for you monitor in the monitor settings in windows.

If the above wont work then also try:
Under the More Tab
Check Video Compatibility(#1)

OS is Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3

and also same thing happens in video compatibiliy mode as in normal...

the dithering and antialiasing were unchecked

Did you also try the bitrate thing I told you?
Change it to 16-bit in the setup for soldat and for your monitor(it used to cause your error on my old computer).

Make sure you try restarting your computer, that solves most problems.

Vista and Soldat generally don't get along too well; ensure you are running Soldat as an Administrator, and you may need to tell Vista to run Soldat in Windows XP or earlier compatability mode as well. Search this forum for help on how to do the previous instructions.

In the future, please create your own topic instead of hijacking someone elses, and proofread your post for spelling and gramatical errors so it's easier to read.

Ok, but I have do alll in this topic:
-Installing as Admin
-run in compatibility with XP
-change to 16 bit
-run in video compatibility
I try evrything... and the "Vista error screen" apears after first soldat reinstalation...
U think it's a DirectX error, or what other?

You need to -run- as an admin, not just install as an admin. And not just as an administrator account: you need to explicitly tell Vista to run it with administrative permissions.

I got this a LOT, try setting you hardware acceleration to Maximum (I've forgotten how, I think it's Control Panel>System>Something from there.

Once my Hardware Acceleration was full, my Directx 9.0c kicked in and BOOM, back to slapping down Yanks.
