dont ask for the sides of mirrored maps, cobra, death 2, dropdown2, equinox, lanubya, maya, maya2, ruins, snakebite, steel and voland are mirrored, so no need for these, the side doesn't matters at all.

I wouldn't just assume that mirrored maps are even, the fact that the polygons are the same on both sides doesn't mean they are exactly the same. The placement of the colliders(boxes bushes etc..) gives great influence to the way the map is played. For instances take Steel, the left side(this is alpha i believe) has a really nice box middle, this box can give you a really sexy nade boost which makes it extremely easy to catch an efc if he went low. Whereas the right side middle doesn't have the box, so you just have to hope the efc is running like a major*cough*mozzer*cough*

The lay of the scenary has some effect even if it is small. We could also take in the psychological effect of Alpha side winning more, generally when your Alpha(in a clan war!) your the home team and therefore normally your playing on your server. Sure all servers are the same, but like anything you feel better at "home" where you know your ping will be okay or that it won't be buggy etc... I for one when i see a just random ip adress or a clangames.pl or anything .pl tend to freak out a bit lal!

The SCTFL statistics as presented by Poop are by far the best answer for this question. Opinions and speculation are virtually worthless. It's obvious that being alpha or bravo in a particular map may present huge advantages, given the subtle differences in the scenery, collider and terrain makeup.
