If you shoot someone, the reason for it is for them to die. Why wouldn't they die?

Are you playing on a wireless connection? I've heard that although a good ping may be present, packets get dropped more frequently than using a landline. That could be your problem.

Like Kagesha said, it is a problem with the game itself. The only thing you really can do is get less ping, but since that is relatively hard/expensive to change your ISP (who you get internet from) just play games on servers close to you as possible.

You won't get lower ping by changing your ISP unless you're using dial-up and moving to at least 256 kbps.

Btw. : Changing your net connection "speed" won't change the actual speed of the connection; your ping will be the same (unless you're using dialup of course...)

I wanna know if there is any chance, at all, that something might be done with it.
IMO, if it's possible,  they should re-write the netcode instead of the next verson.
Re-writing is the only thing to do about it right?

From the way I read it, it looks like he's complaining that the bullets are killing people. I didn't know bullets could do that.

As earlier posters said, it's because of netcode. And coders of the game doesn't want to change it because it would took recode whole netcode. But of course there is always solutions to these problems, just change a game.

There is much good games with much better netcode my recommends:

World of Warcraft, not much latency if you take realm which isn't full, well realms with "recommend" status shouldn't have latency at all. Besides, there is much less bugs in World of Warcraft than in Soldat. But this game requires month fee (13 euros in month) and you have to buy normal gamebox which costs something like 20 euros. After that if you want to play game seriosly you have to buy two expansion box. Burning crusade costs something like 20 euros and Wrath of the Lich King costs something like 30-40 euros.

If you dont like MMORPG games then you should play some First-Person Shooter like Counter -Strike or Call of Duty. I dont play such of games so I can't help you at that.

But if you are not ready to change game then you just have to live with latency and bugs. They will never be removed from game, insted of that there will occur more and more bugs and latency after every version. That how it have been a long time. So prepare or change game.
