Adding new weapons

Can I add new weapons somehow or I can only change the pre existing ones ?
If it's possible, is there any special method I have to use?

You can only modify the existing weapons. Adding new ones is impossible.

Is there any reason of it's absence or it just hasn't been coded yet ?

Eh... all you need to 'create' a new weapon is on the .ini all weapons are coded there, just change the values

To be honest, it doesn't look like you will ever be able to add weapons to the game unless you actually edit the game yourself which cant really be done since the source code is not available, to my understanding

and they have told us that they wont be doing it either, so you'll have to live with the existing weapon set.  you can modify the weapon graphics and statistics though, but the statistics (fire interval, ammo, etc) will only be avaliable for use offline or if you host it on your own server.

Also, am I right or projectile type number 9 is the grapple bomb and the projectile type number 10 is the sub projectile of the grapple bomb ?
