ping 9999

i have a problem:
when i want to open my own server then stand there ping 9999 and everybody cant play with me :(
whats the reason?????
i have a very good internet but why its not go???
please help mee :((

I don't know of any German guide, but I'll try to make it as simple as possible.

Go look what model your router is. Find it on http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm, and proceed to click Soldat in the new listing that appears. Follow the instructions.

Scroll down to "To set up port forwarding:" on that page.

You need to add three forwarding rules:

  • UDP 23073
  • TCP 23073
  • TCP 23083

(My guess is that you need to type in the port numbers into the "Offentlich" field.)

To find out your LAN IP, press Start and choose Run. Type in "cmd", and in the window that appears, "ipconfig". Your LAN IP can be found there, and will most likely start with 192.168.
