I made this for Christmas/December, but the filesize is ridiculous and I don't feel like optimizing it. So I figured I'd just show you all.



Also the transparency in it is broken. C'est la vie

That is by far the coolest thing ever. It's a shame it can't be made smaller. I just love how red it gets.

Lol, didn't realize it was an animation until I saw it suddenly turn red O.O

Anyway, it's a nice piece of work, though sadly its over the limit - 316.71KB

- jrgp's with a transparent background (instead of white).
- SadistAtHeart's with less frames and less quality (forum standard compliant).

Just a note on transparent .GIF's: GIF's don't support semi-transparency, unless you put it over another colour. You either have a completely transparent or a completely opaque pixel (because, a semi-transparent colour over another colour is still a fully opaque colour).

If it changes to red too fast it doesn't look very good, especially if there's a very long waiting time before it changes from white to red. *sigh* but it has to be so fast if it were to be below limit.

I had a static version already cooked up for December, but thanks for the enthusiasm and such :)

I was going to make it into an animated .png for just this problem, but the filesize would be worse than it already is. .gifs need alpha transparency. The short version you make looks nice by the way, I might use that.

I'll take a crack at it. No guarantees that it'll look nice, though ;)

When I get back a in a little bit I'm going to make both helmets glow and such, but this is all I've got for now:
