Favourite Servers

When one favourites a server, make it so you can add your own title/description/comment for it.

Why do we need a description?

Well because you get this big list of adresses that have no meaning, and often a small title which is either vague, ambiguous, or irrelevant. What Im saying is, if I can comment or write my own description/title, I can label them in my own way so that I always know which server Im looking at.

It means I can always label/rank them by fun, activity, nostalgia or best place to find a certain soldier. Just a measure of ergonomics to make it easy to organise in my own way.

F11, if you like it, you should remember its server. Server's title is there, so at least you'll kinda remember. If you can't even remember why you added to the favorites, then you might as well try to do some memory games before you add into your lists.

I had a suggestion awhile back like this. Make a filter improvement so you could have a box that says "favorite one" so when you press refresh, it only shows favorites. I am going to have to F11 this though, on the grounds of unnecessary.

wow, im sry but this idea is pointless. Unless you want a fuzzy feeling when you look at a server and it tells you what YOU made it tell you, then you might as well grab a pen and a piece of paper, write what you think about a server, and tape it beside you're keyboard.

However, I do see some value in maybe creating something that, when you click on a server, it would tell you who all is in the server. But, thats all my opinion.

Well we can do it manually already, Im just suggesting that a menu approach might be of some use.

The favourites list can easily get cluttered, especially when server titles are synonomous and the differences are a few characters.

I made this thread to see if others may also have a busy favourites list, and if so, being able to keep/edit the title when pressing 'add to favourites' may make things easier on some, and provide a novelty to others.

What about the server name being shown instead of the IP in your favourites list?  or is it already like that..?

Still, I dont support this idea its kinda silly.  but then again, why do we need flames sprouting out of the flame god? :P

Yes it shows both title and ip in the dropdown menu.

Im not terribly fussed either way, as I said we can edit the titles already, I was merely curious whether it was an issue for many people or not and whether it may be better to add the function to the gui

The description would make it convenient for people who use the favourites list as a bookmark list rather than a litteral favourites list.

I'll say f12 but it doesnt seem too necissary so maybe f11.5
