Red Alert 3

This is so ironic, few days backwards I flamed C&C games but now I want to try Red Alert 3 because I want to keep the faith to first Red Alert what I played. I have never played Red Alert 2 but I have heard good and bad things about that game. One my friend said that Red Alert 3 isn't really good. Well, still I want to try it.

So I'm going to buy Red Alert 3 today, it's one month old game so maybe I can join to other Red Alert 3 players if I learn game fast. I want to try play it online.

Anyone have Red Alert 3 or is going to buy it?

I'll let you know when I have that RA3 in my hands. I hope someone could play 2on2 with me ^^

I tried it briefly at a mates place. It might be that I haven't gotten into it enough, but I don't think it's really in the old spirit. Frankly I was a little disappointed in it.

I'm too old for 3D.  But it's probably good.  It has everything I love about C&C: (the sometimes not so) Awesome acting, cool actors, interesting storyline, twists, crazy units, and Tanya

Okey. I'm now installing it. Almost done. Can't wait to see if it's better than I thought from beta testings.

This game seems very good at his own way. This isn't like old Red Alert but this isn't bad either. I'm looking forward to play this game more.

I went back and payed the old c&c games a while ago and i find the old games are still more fun. I think it is because you can not take out a whole base with a single weapon.
Anyway...

Gonna play it for a little bit, not gonna buy it.

I wouldn't say so. I have played now only tutorial and four campaing mission and it seems very nice game. It's not like old RA game but so what? It's third "episode" of RA serie but it doesn't have to be copy of RA1 or RA2. I'm gonna make little report of this game soon.

PS. Taking bases using one single weapon is at least lame. That's what I'm thinking of it. My opinion.

hmm i just bought red alert 3 and installing it..i hope its gonna be like ra1 and ra2 because i realy liked them .

its very cheap, easy nd lame. it kinda reminds me of camping

R3 is really bad. The only good stuff about his game are the movies with Gemma. The game is also broken just like RA2 and not to mention DRM.

its horrible, i played the demo only, and its even more horrible than the videos itself, i can think how horrible the whole game is

1) too much special powers, its just no red alert like
2) the campaign is scripted like hell, skirmishes are a lot better
3) the intro,  COME ON, HELL MARCH ON NON SOVIET FACTIONS?!?!?!?
4) westwood had an idea to make red alert 2 to have connections to the tiberium saga (tesla made experiments, and he "teleported" the deuterium to earth, ea went over this with the c&c3, and now continues)
5) the graphics, well, they are kinda in the spirit of red alert, but they went too far on the psychtic look

well i kinda played red alert 3 now..finnished 2 missions and played online 3 vs 3...
i kinda like it but,the fire power is unbalanced.
everything if reaking unbalanced..
its same as playing  Soldat 0.9.4c and the next day you play Soldat 1.4.2 .
but well it got some good stuff.
but the worst this is,My Fav apocalypse tank is now ruined!! they ruined it!!! :\
1.it has less power than in ra2.
2.its ugly.
3.it moves like an old tractor :S .
