The new year, and how you plan on celebrating

So, a new year is waiting just around the corner. In Denmark we have a custom of promising ourselfs things we're gonna change in the year to come, could be losing weight, taking a trip somewhere or finally telling that special one how you feel - anything goes. Haven't decided on mine yet, but it'll probably be something in the lines of keeping a more positive attitude. What's yours?

Also, how do you plan on celebrating? I'm going to look at an apartment in an hour, a big one. 110m2, my mate and I are moving in. If we get it, we'll be throwing one hell of a drinking session there on the 31st. Pretty stoked about it.

Although it's impossible to switch your personality from an introvert to an extrovert in your lifetime, you sure can change the level of how much of an introvert you are.

Taking those personality tests in high school, I was a definite introvert. But that doesn't stop me from going out and having fun and all those goodies. The introvert part of me is mostly from first time meetings but quickly goes away. I'd suggest you celebrate the new year. Sure, a nice dinner with the family is good, but you can also have that the other 364 days of the year also. Do something different


On Topic:
Meeting old friends coming back from college from break and reminisce and talk about stuff. Probably finding some new years parties and drinking till I can't stand up and meeting alot of new people. Some female friction would be nice but only time can tell. Can't figure out a new years resolution yet, but I never do either.

I think you're talking about what we call New Year's Resolutions. I never really make them, but I suppose this time I'll make a rather lenient one that states that I shall run for 20 minutes every weekday for at least 4 months straight. Because I need to get back in shape. In high school, we had PE, so I would at least get minimal exercise every day. Ever since I got into college, I haven't been doing much except for walking from class to class.

Also, for New Year's, I'll either be spending the night with Jess, partying with my nerd friends, or both. Irish Car Bombs, ahoy!

Annual LAN party with meh buddies. CS, DotA, now Atlantica, some Civ if were up to it, and any other War3 game. Good times.

don't know what i'm gonna do with the celebrations and all yet, but i do am planning in getting a recordplayer and some LP's and shizz from black sabbath, zeppelin,beatles, etc...starting some collection..
