I don't think you'll be able to apply 3D air-combat skills, to a sidescroller. The gameplay would just be too different.

Meh.
Too different, or... too worse?
Sidescroller? I thought MM said it would be a 3D game.

My Regards.

"too worse" is not correct english. Anyway... it will have 3d graphics, but it will be a side-scrolling shooter. And if you think 2d flying games suck, go play triplane turmoil...

Pretty much what Rhombus said, without the presumptuous suggestion.

And since when does anyone use 'correct' English?

A lot of people do, and yet a lot of people don't. Raptor, however, sounds like he thinks he's really smart. I just like breaking that dream :)

I doubt we'll hear anything about a release date until halfway through 2008 (or later!). But that's okay, makes the game that much more enjoyable when it comes out.

exactly.

And, if it just happened to fall on the day that halo 3 is released, that would make it that much more badass.

Yes.... I was promised CG news!

If you rely on "promises"... CG should have had a playable version out almost a year ago already.

I have lost my interest :|

Maybe he is keeping CG a secret until it is released, so people don't have skyrocketing expectations for when it is released.

and he's working on that for over a years already, but so what, he's working on soldat for over 5 years already and its still not bugfree..

So imagine what can happen if he releases CG now. It'd be overflowing with bugs.
News would still be pleasant though.
