Mp3/Music Problem

Sooo.. I love Soldat and all, a lot.
But.. I've recently bumped into a bug/problem.
And.. as a result it keeps me from listening to my favorite songs.
Here's how it went. When I recently (5 Minutes ago) put songs into the mp3 folder, then used SPG to create a m3u play list, I went into the game.. got into a server... and noticed it wasn't playing my music.
What it is doing however, is scrolling really really fast through the filenames.. (Where normal chat would be) and not playing anything at all.
The only thing I could think that could have caused this is although it's mp3 only certain mp3's work.. because I've had the problem before, and then I just put in a different mp3 and it worked.
If this is true... or not true.. I would really love a fix so I could listen to the songs I want too.
Either that.. or in future Soldat Releases.. make it so it doesn't have to be M3u play list run.
Please? A fix? Do I need to convert the Mp3's?
btw.. they are 320kb quality.

I had the same problem myself a few years ago and I know that others have experienced the issue as well, but I've never actually seen any reliable means of resolving the matter so unfortunately I cannot provide you with a fix. Instead, I suggest that you try playing while running Winamp (or some equivalent audio player) in the background. It does the same thing while even providing added functionality, such as the ability to toggle volume, etc., with various hotkeys, so in essence it's actually preferable in many ways.

like 90% of soldat bugs is fixed by reinstalling it. maybe you've placed the Mp3s else where so that when soldat plays the playlist it can't find the files because they are not where you should be.

Never fixed it.
I guess it's just a specific format of MP3 that's not accepted.
0.0, maybe bitrate/sound quality.

Soldat can only play some specific type of mp3. I had the same problem a while ago, and I don't think there is a fix for it...

Well it's definitely something they should fix in the next version.

lossy to lossy transcoding sucks but it's the only way to do it i am afraid
