#Spiceserv @ Quakenet Free 20 slot ClanserversThat's right, I am offering up to 25(15 taken already) 20 slot sctfl/srl setting compliant servers for clans who don't have any money and want to war. I don't have a site up, but it'll probably be ready mid-January. The server is hosted in amsterdam and is on a 100mbps dedicated server with specs:
*2.00GHZ Pentium Dual Core E2180 Processor
*2GB RAM
*Debian Operating System(32 bit)
I think these are the only specs I should really bother you with. Though for this free service I have a few rules:
*You're not one of those MSN/XFire only clans. You'll be making your request on #spiceserv @ quakenet using my bot(it should be easy enough).
*You're active, and are not planning to die anytime soon. You are not going to leave the clan soon(remember:the bot belongs to the clan not to you).
*When you make your request, you specify your clan's name, the port you want though I may not be able to supply the exact port as it may be taken or it's too large and may cause conflicts(limit set at 65535) the adminpassword and whether you want sctfl or srl settings on it. I will not accept requests without this information(though if you do not supply sctfl/srl settings, I will set sctfl settings onto it; it is not possible to set any other settings, I'm not giving away public servers).
*One person cannot request multiple clanservers, nor can one clan request multiple clanservers. One per clan/person.
*After I have given away 30 clanservers, I will monitor these for a month to check how much bandwidth(RAM shouldn't be a problem) is used and depending on this I may give away more(I have 3TB per month \m/).
*On custom maps/scripts: I will look into it when I have time.
