Online FPSs
« on: December 17, 2008, 05:07:26 pm »
What do you think are the best free online FPSs?

I would like to make this a discussion about how good or bad most free games are.

Urbanterror. It's completely free, action packed, works for all modern operating systems, and is VERY popular.

Sounds nifty. I was trying to get War Rock, but the sign up system is ungodly stupid.
I will try that. =D
I just want to be able to play a 3D game that doesn't look like it is from the 64 and doesn't have three players on it.
The gameplay and videos don't look bad...
Does anyone know a good Battlefield clone that isn't Combat Arms?

That looks nothing from what I saw in the videos...
I saw some guy running incredibly fast shooting Quake like guns.
I will try it.
Oh, and how is War rock? I am downloading it now.
Oh, I see, that is a screen from War Rock.
I have my account now.

I've played a few free FPS's. They were all trash and rip-offs of good not-free ones. Personally, I think it is so much better to drop about $30 (where I live) for BF2 or 10 for CS:S, they are infinitely better. War Rock is Battlefield but not as good.

Wolfenstein:ET anyone?

EDIT: Nobody's paying attention to my post it seems.  Wolf:ET is the best free FPS that I know of.

Yeah, I don't have money to spend and I don't have a system to play it on.

Well, War rock doesn't work. I try to sign up, but it is basically impossible...
I need to find something good and easy to sign up for.

Hm, alot of great free games out there, but the FPS genre is really lacking in that area. If FPS is what you crave, I would suggest putting down a few dollars.

For an upcoming game however, I reccomend you get this when it is released.

No no no, this is all wrong!!! Combat Arms MUST die by firea and holy water, or by POPE. This is the shittiest ripoff of other games!

Try Warrock, it's basically BF 2 with the graphics toned down.

And the registration is not hard, you must be on the wrong website. >.>

No. I am on that Game website that you go through.
I made my first account. And then all that other crap.
And it still says my account is unregistered.
Maybe you could make an account for me with the name of Sodiform or Xxypher... Because I just can't...
