I will try windowed mode for 2 weeks or until I found out the difference when I get back to my good pc. when i checked just now it was the same fps,  I have never had over 70 fps with my fullscreen mode, could be interresting if windowed mode caused fps to go higher. tell me more about it if you have some usefull info on it.

I always play windowed. Makes it easy to keep an eye on your other tabs, and you get a kindo of 'tunnelvision' bloodlust. Also, its a real pain to exit out of fullscreen so you can deal with another tab like msn. If i have an msn chat window open though, Soldat warps like a prostitutes love tunnel, so one always has to have everything else minimised before playing.

Call me a noob if ya want,
but how do u window it?

Obviously voted full screen  ;)

From Config.exe (a green helmet in your Soldat folder) -> Untick full screen.

Doesn't 100% windowed make everything eyehurting blurry?

Thanks, tried it but didnt like it

Windowed makes the game faster for me. It's also looks much better graphics that way for me. It's just everything looks out of place in fullscreen.

I can't imagine wanting it to be windowed.

I'm with the good Sir Jeremy here, mostly because I tend to have a lot of stuff open that requires switching through, and my computer takes a good 10 second to switch resolutions.

Yeah lol Idante, I have like 2-5 other programs and stuff in my background running, and minimized seems to help alot there.  Even though sometimes I get this weird Graphic card error, when Soldat is running and I try to open a different program, like Xfire..
Restarting helps then..

I play windowed 70%, just seems to work for me.  I might try 100%, although I usually want to monitor anyone talking to me on MSN

When I first downloaded the game I had a terrible computer, so I had to use windowed mode. I guess now I'm just used to windowed...
Yeah.

I wish I could move around the window, if I for example want to have msn to the right, I could put soldat to the left, but it has to be in the center :|
it should be suggested maybe?
I couldn't help but notice no one has answered this.
Simply click and hold on the top right "soldat" text and drag it! :D hope you get to read this :P

I think I should try windowed mode as well... just for the hang of it
--
Laptop = windowed
Desktop = Fullscreen

It all depends on the video card. Soldat runs faster in windowed mode on my laptop because it has a better video card then my desktop. Window mode plus my desktop lags balls, and that's bad.

Unfortunately, that only works if his Soldat is NOT resized. If it is, then it will always be in the center.

If you're registered, just increase the resolution. Then you'll be able to put it where you want it.

I play fullscreen. I like to be into a game.

Especially in a game like Half-Life 2 or F.E.A.R.

I guess maybe in full screen targets are bigger, so you can hit them better?
I personally find minimized has helped me ..play better. ;)
