They don't seem anywhere ornate as the current ones. While they may be comical, they'd get old almost immediately.

No, just no. Emote faces at all are bad enough, but nothing says fail quite like 'cool' 'mainstream' emotes.

Any idiot that needs to make use of any of those faces [which all represent "stupid"] is just as well off banned.
