Have a better idea than I shade your map, I give you some advice for doing it yourself :)
1) Pick the vertex color and go to the palette-window
2) Now you have to click on the big color-window in the palette-window
3) You see there a on the left-up side a big box with all colours, on the right-up side are 5 bars (first bar is light-    darkness, second for gray-mix, third is the color-spectrum, fourth is the color fading into red and the last is
    fading into blue), under that all you can see left the final color, in the middle the mix in numbers, right from
    that the hex-code
4) Pick the first bar with the light and darkness and darken your picked color, the mix is now ready
5) Then pick the color vertexes-tool and turn on points, now you can shade the parts of the polygons you want
    to :)

Shading already complete, but thanks for the steps. I don't really know how to work the waypoints, however.

Shading is okay, for advice for waypointing go to the botsforum, there are some guides for waypointing

Ignore the dark-yellow arrows coming out of the red text-box. And yes, read the red box first, then the yellow one.

My idea, as the middle route poses as a "threat" to the use of other routes:

I would make less routes (8 you have there!!!). Maybe Close 4 of these and put in there black blanks!

You make no sense, Dark Crusade, and you have a good idea there, Black Sheep. I wanted this to be a complicated map with many routes. I wasn't really aiming for the usual number, but if there must be a certain number of them...

you will need more than 14 players for that, otherwise you will have a mice&cat-gameplay where players can escape everywhere! This would be cool as htf, but with that many routes ... you say you wanted it that way?

Your 'out of the box' thinking is well appreciated. However...

1) the map looks like utter crap. Shading, scenery, more polygons, whatever the f**k. Atleast look at the default maps, because this is only a pile of polygons.
2) Too. Many. Routes. Your average pub has 10~ players, while mainstream soldat operates on 3v3. You have 8 routes, with atleast 2 being useless (too slow, too jaggy, too 'oh my the enemy has got the flag while I was up/down here!).
3) Can you imagine a stalemate with every enemy spawning an inch away from the flag spawn? Worse then kampf.

You've a lot to learn padawan, but don't stop, or I'll kill you dead.
