Looking for instersting/modern guns

I am making a full mod called Soldat Retro, and I wanted to incorporate some interesting/modern weapons or twists on existing weapons that have real functionality and a cool factor. Basically, I am looking for a weapon that is thought out and is cool but useable, not just a combination of a LAW shot with an existing gun or similar 5 second ideas. Does anyone have some?

Well yeah, that site is nice, but I am looking for almost futuristic weapons (the weapons of today/the near future), not just weapons used WW2 and later... Plus I want someone's request for a specific weapon you think would be good.

right heres the thing, if you didnt have the designs behind the P90 you wouldnt have the AICW by Metal Storm

anyway the only reason everyone says the p90 sucks is because they forget its a sub-machine gun and its meant for close battle conditions

no, if you shake the goddamn p90 hard enough the mag unstacks and will not feed. because of this, the p90 if pretty much fucking useless in actual combat.

How 'bout one of those AK-47 pistols? I think those look cool.
