There seems to be a bug..

when enough people join or theres a player with a high enough level (lv. 6), the server tries to load zombie wave [3] in the bots.ini. What happpenes is 'zombie' gets repeatedly kicked from the console and joins back. this keeps repeating forever..

Also, sometimes the turret spawns upside down..

Some notes:
  • All preveous commands will be wiped, if you had any higher level accounts just edit the file after creation in the accounts folder.
  • DELETE THE OLD ELITE ZOMBIE .BOT FILE AND REPLACE IT WITH THE ONE INCLUDED. This will fix the bug BoogaBooga mentioned
  • I am getting a rented server from U13 so there will soon be a LAG FREE test server! Enjoy!

im not going to suggest too many thing as it would turn this mod into a copy of mine, but there are some things that i couldnt stand at all:
1) !nextmap is broken. Seems like the vote just resets whenever someone else says !nextmap
2) Massive mapbug which makes the maps switch in an insane way (epic wmv). I cant say what exactly causes it, but it would be really nice if you could fix whatever it is (i know its not easy, had it too)
3) Ok, i finally killed over three hundred bots and leveled up. Seems like i can now actually learn a skill. After looking at the list of skills in !skillinfo i liked wave most of all, so i did /learn wave . Oops, i cant learn it, im too low level. Im ok with that, but what level should i be? Come on, if you dont have an online manual yet, you could at least put the level in brackets in the error message...

I hope that wasnt too rude, im actually impressed that someone is making a mod like that ;)

1) I guess the server needed a restart, it does that when the pc wiggs out (flab is rlly slow in getting me my server, i paid for it last friday...) EDIT: I just realized taht i had that in the !commands, the nextmap script is not intigrated in zrpg (yet)
2) Same as above but i think i can fix it some. *starts working on it*
3) If you do /skills it says what the level requirement is in the unavailable section. But i will put it in the error description.

An update that Hack missed;
I convinced him to have the zombies in the server based on Average level, instead of Total, to prevent low levels from getting no kills whilst high levels get them all/cap.

yay, came up w/ some skills/spells.

Last Breath - suicide yourself, exploding into flaming knives. you lose mana for dying, but gain for any zombies you kill.

Airstrike - missiles from above target the area where you are. GTFO fast! MASSIVE cooldown time.

Time Scrap – all zombies move and act 50% slower. (If possible)

Junction Blaster – Two turrets are created at the same point. They never shoot at the same target.

Divot – Powerful mana burst that rockets the enemy into the ground

Idle Threats – for a short amount of time (MASSIVE cooldown) anything and everything does absolutely no damage.

Hi Ekoz! S' been a while. But I like your ideas.
  • Last Breath: May not be very popular but i may try it.
  • Airstrike: I was thinking of something like this, it may be in in the version after next
  • Time Scrap: It is sorda possible to make them move slower but it would cause massive lag.
  • Junction Blaster: I was also planning something like this :P, may also be in the vesion after next
  • Divot: Nice idea, that would be pretty easy to code so it may be in the next update
  • Idle Threats: Hmm, I dont know about that one, but ill look into it


UnknownSniper: Heh cant believe i fogot to mention something so important. :P Thx for pointing it out.

PS: Also Ekoz i run one of your maps (inf_Plato) in my server. It works well but you should add some death polys to make it where u cant nade boost to the flag.

thx, hack. i really can't update plato because, well, most everybody has the version you're running. it's actually really popular, so trying to update it is trying to wipe out the flu.

as for last breath, a way to make it more popular is double points or double mana or something :P.

Skill idea;

Retreat - Players can create 1 checkpoint, at any area of the map(Not on the flag) and use /retreat to be teleported to that area. The checkpoint only lasts for 1 use, at a cost of 50 or 100 mana(limit the use) and level 20+ so it wont be abused.

I know you don't want teleport skills, but it could be helpful for escaping zombie swarms, or retards getting you killed. :p
